GENERALTeamspeak is our clans way of communicating, gaming, and having fun together. The following is a set of guidelines for the three categories of users on our Teamspeak.

GUEST

  • You are our Guest so please act accordingly.
  • You must use your gaming name in order to use our Teamspeak.
  • A =TAW= member must invite you to his channel.
  • Type an in game message to a =TAW= member to ask to be moved down to the gaming channel or wait in the top channel for a member of =TAW= to meet and greet with you.
  • After that =TAW= member leaves the channel you must leave unless another =TAW= member is willing to have you stay as their guest.
  • After all =TAW= members leave the gaming channel you should or will be moved to the top channel.
  • Excessive or foul language will get you kicked from our Teamspeak.
  • Repeated excessive or foul language will get you banned from our Teamspeak.
  • If you continue to use our Teamspeak but have no intentions of joining =TAW= please consider donating as this service is not free to =TAW=.

REGISTERED USERS

  • You must be a =TAW= Member or recruit to be registered on our Teamspeak.
  • Allowed to move freely to any channel in Teamspeak except Privacy Please.
  • Allowed to move players to other channels.
  • Allowed to kick or ban players from channel or Teamspeak.
  • If you are not in game and see a Guest come into top channel make an effort to meet and greet with them to find out what they need.
  • Excessive or foul language will get you kicked from Teamspeak.
    Repeated excessive or foul language will get you kicked from Teamspeak and result in you losing your registration rights for a minimum of one week.

SERVER ADMINS

  • Responsible for administrating Teamspeak and upholding the guidelines set forth.
  • Allowed to move freely to any channel.
  • Allowed to move players to other channels.
  • Allowed to kick or ban players from channel or Teamspeak.
  • If you are not in game and see a Guest come into top channel make an effort to meet and greet with them to find out what they need.
  • Before moving a guest into a gaming channel ask everyone in that channel if there is an objection to that guest moving down. If there is a single objection from a =TAW= member then the guest does not move down.
  • Repeated excessive or foul language will get you kicked from Teamspeak and result in you losing your registration rights for a minimum of one week and losing of your admin rights for a minimum of one month.
  • Misusing your admin rights will result in you losing your admin rights for a minimum of one month.
  • Be courteous and don't jump into password protected channels without text messaging a member in that channel first, and receiving permission to enter.

MISC

  • Registered members should only join TeamSpeak using their =TAW= name. If you enter under an alias you may be kicked without warning.
  • When you join a channel announce your presence with a hello or something.
  • If you invite a guest into a gamming channel you are responsible for his/her behavior.
  • If a member of =TAW= wants a channel created ask a SA to create a registered channel for you.
  • Any member who is greeting a new guest should inform them of the Policies and Procedures of our Teamspeak by directing them to the link on the right side of the top Teamspeak channel.
  • When a member of =TAW= leaves their Teamspeak registration will normally be deleted after a 3 days waiting period after they post they are leaving.
  • If a member was an admin their SA rights will be removed immediately.
  • If a member decides to come back within those 3 days their registration and SA rights will be granted back.
  • If a member comes back after the 3 day waiting period then their registration and SA rights will be granted back on a case by case basis and decided upon by the Teamspeak Commander.
  • If you were denied membership as a recruit, or were kicked out of TAW, please do not return to our Teamspeak server for at least 30 days.
  • Inappropriate behavior will get you kicked from the channel or Teamspeak per admins discretion.
